Hi, I’m Sal — a film stills and street photographer working between Australia, the UK, and Malta, specialising in cinematic imagery for film, theatre, and music.

When I’m not on set, you’ll likely find me wandering city streets with a camera in one hand and coffee in the other, chasing light and moments that tell untold stories.

My photographic journey began in 2015 with the purchase of my first full-frame camera. After experimenting with various genres, I found my passion in street photography and the art of capturing fleeting, unscripted moments.

In 2022, I completed the Film Stills Academy program under leading stills photographer Nicola Dove (No Time To Die), which deepened my understanding of narrative-driven photography on set. In 2023 alone, I photographed four short films, a stage production, two live music events, and wrapped the year shooting a feature film.

I’m known for being professional, easy to work with, and always generous with the sweet stash — which may be why I’m often invited back.

My work has been featured in Time Out and on the Instagram feed of DoubleTree by Hilton. I’m listed in the VicScreen Film Directory, and I’m a regular contributor to Yarra Trams’ social media.

If you’d like to collaborate, please get in touch. I’d love to hear about your project — or simply shout you a coffee in one of Melbourne’s many excellent cafés.
